This snapper season is shaping up to be a good one! They are predicting the longest snapper season in years!

Current Panama City Beach fishing (early March 2026) is strong, with high activity levels expected, particularly early mornings. Inshore, redfish, speckled trout, and sheepshead are biting well around bays and docks. Surf fishing is productive for whiting and pompano, while nearshore reef fishing yields sheepshead and snapper.

• King Mackerel: Appearing as water temperatures begin to rise.
